Hosting a boudoir marathon is something I have been dreaming of doing for a few years now. I was so thrilled to see all of the parts come together for this shoot. The Leslie-Alford Mims House in Holly Springs was the perfect backdrop for our marathon. Built in 1840 the Mims House is like a page straight out of a Jane Austen novel! Dripping in chandeliers, gorgeous wall to wall windows and original hardwood flooring, the house is also furnished with authentic Victorian chaise lounge chairs and couches.
I wanted my girls to be pampered from the moment the arrived to when they sashayed out the door. They were greeted with complimentary champagne and delicious cupcakes from The CupcakeBite located in the historic district of Fuquay Varina. Next they were ushered into a luxurious velvet chair to be spoiled by our supremely talented hair and makeup artist, Brittany Campbell of Sunshine Artistry. We had the whole house to our shoot at our leisure, it was truly a dream come true. I can't wait to plan our next marathon, hopefully to be hosted this fall!
